INVISIO products are sold globally with main markets in Europe and the USA. For the most part, INVISIO products are sold through a number of specialized distributors. As the OEM projects are customer-related, they can take place in any geographical market.

Consumer Markets

On the whole, INVISIO Headsets A/S's customers within the consumer market are found in three different segments: retailers (electronic chains for consumers, mobile phone specialists, etc.), distributors (distributors of consumer electronics) and mobile phone operators. The growth in consumer products is primarily being driven, first and foremost, by the number of mobile phones with inbuilt Bluetooth transmitters.

According to market analysis fi rm Strategy Analytics, approximately 760 million mobile phones were sold worldwide in 2006, of which approximately 240 million, corresponding to 32 per cent, were equipped with Bluetooth. Strategy Analytics expects the number of Bluetooth enabled mobile phones to increase to 275 million in the year 2007.

Professional markets

The professional market for INVISIO products is divided into two main customer groups based on the customers’ various requirements: public users such as police officers, bodyguards, rescue service employees and military units, plus private users in, for example, the construction, maritime and aviation industries. 

INVISIO Headsets A/S estimates that the market for professional mobile radio communication equipment is growing by about two per cent per annum while the market for accessories is estimated to be growing at a higher rate. All in all, INVISIO Headsets A/S estimates the global market for professional headsets to amount to 1.5 million units per annum, corresponding to a total value of more than SEK 2.3 billion.
